Purpose & Mission

International Appalachian's goal is to help implement the Board of Governor's adoption of Internationalization. We do this by increasing international understanding and direct involvement with other cultures at Appalachian State University. INTAPP will work alongside the Office of International Education and Development, the Office of Diversity, the Office of Student Development, the Office of Admissions, the Alumni Association, Students, and Faculty to create world citizens at Appalachian State University, better equipped to contribute to their local communities.

Goals

1. Bring more international Students to Appalachian
2. Encourage more Appalachian Students to study abroad
3. Promote interaction between International Students and American students, while also promoting internationalization at Appalachian.
