International Appalachian (INTAPP) is an organization that seeks to increase international understanding and direct involvement with other cultures and countries at Appalachian State University and the entire state of North Carolina by providing a leadership outlet for internationally focused students.

INTAPP works to promote study abroad, international recruitment to ASU, leadership, international travel, study abroad alumni involvement, and North Carolina secondary school students’ interest in the world and its people.

Members of International Appalachian have regular interaction with international students, improving both the experiences of the international students and INTAPP members.

Working along side the Office of International Education and Development (OIED), INTAPP is a multifaceted organization designed to weave internationalism into the cultural fabric of ASU, creating better world citizens prepared to contribute to their local communities.
